DNA Health Testing

Caspian has completed an AKC DNA screening panel. Many of the screened conditions show normal (clear) results, including degenerative myelopathy (common variant), osteogenesis imperfecta (Dachshund type), and progressive retinal atrophy cone-rod dystrophy (Dachshund type).

DNA screening does not guarantee freedom from all inherited disease. Please review the full report and discuss breeding compatibility and health risks with your veterinarian.
